Dwayne Lynn LeVan, 59, of Bellefontaine, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at the Hospice of Central Ohio in Columbus.
Dwayne was born August 20, 1966, in Bellefontaine to the late Ronald Wayne LeVan Sr. and Margaret “Peg” Ann (Titus) Sutton. On February 28, 2004, in Bellefontaine, he married Joanne Marie Huffman, who survives. He is also survived by his children, Tiffany (Cameron) Roe and Scott Conover; grandkids, Evelyn Roe and Graham Roe; brother and sisters, Ronald (Tara) LeVan Jr., Denise (Craig Warne) LeVan, Ryan (Natalie Landon) LeVan, Dean (Amy) LeVan and Darin (Megann) LeVan; brother in Law, John (Kelly) Huffman; nieces and nephews, Cami (Curtis) Morgan, Raiph (Lauryn) LeVan, Sailor LeVan, Sophia Landon, Kyleigh Neeld, Trenton (Olivia Guenzel) Neeld, Cayden (Lexis Meyers) Zachrich, Cole LeVan, Lindsey (Nick) Crockett and Taylor Huffman; great nephews, Bentley Morgan and Beckham Morgan, Benson Huffman, Emery Zachrich and Ezlynn Zachrich; mother-in-law, Cherryol Huffman, previous spouse who has remained as a close family friend, Regina LeVan.
Dwayne worked as an HVAC estimator/project manager at Reliant Mechanical for over 20 years. He loved his cars, and his Corvette was his favorite. He enjoyed car restorations, any and all car work. He could also have been seen at many car shows, as a spectator or a participant. He was a handyman and enjoyed spending his time outside, mowing the grass and working on cars in his barn.
Dwayne was a man of faith and loved worshipping with his church family at Vineyard Christian Fellowship. Dwayne was a family man; he loved his family and adored his grandchildren. He was often affectionately referred to as “Lenard” amongst his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be deeply missed.
He is preceded in death by his parents, father-in-law, Dave Huffman, and nephew, Avery LeVan.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 624 Township Rd 55, Bellefontaine, OH 43311, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. There will be a time of continued remembrance after the service until 4:30 p.m.
The family would like to invite anyone who wishes to attend Dwayne’s services with a muscle, classic, or hot rod car to please drive it that day in honor of him and his love for cars.
