Elisa Edelo Edu, 79, of Bellefontaine, OH, passed away on Wednesday morning, April 22nd, 2026, at their home in Candelaria, Zambales, Philippines. She lived in Bellefontaine, OH, on and off for years while visiting and staying with her family.
Elisa was born on May 11, 1946, in Candelaria, Zambales, Philippines. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eduardo Ebilane Edu, a son, Candido ‘Andy’ Edu, and a grandchild, Joseph Edu.
Elisa is survived by four sons, Edgar Edu (Lisa Edu), Julio Edu (Angie Edu), Agusto Edu (Arlen Edu), and Eduardo Edu Jr. (Theresa Edu), and six daughters, Myrna Edu Elayda (Delfin Elayda), Beth Edu Zook (Spencer Zook), Flora Edu, Lulu Edu, Ofelia Edu Evans, and Hazel Edu. She is also survived by her grandkids and great-grandkids.
Nightly rosaries, a memorial mass, and a visitation will be held at the family home in Candelaria, Zambales, Philippines.
