Evelyn Lee Samson, 86, of Bellefontaine, passed away on April 22, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernie Samson; sister, Doris Pettit; son-in-law, Mike Neer; grandson, Clayton (Mikie) Neer; and daughter-in-law, Doris Keith. She is survived by her three children, Russell Samson, Lea-Annette Neer/Kevin Roush, Zoe/Wade Stegal; she is also survived by five grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Evelyn and her children would like to thank the special women who took care of her, daughter-in-law Danielle Hodge, and her mother, Kristy South. Also, her very special lifelong friends, Rosemary Bayless and Ginny Shaffner.
Visitation will be held Thursday, April 30th, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home, 5591 US Highway 68 S., West Liberty, Ohio, 43357. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 1, 2026, at the Cedar Hill Cemetery, also known as Brownsville Cemetery, 15789 South St, Brownsville, OH 43721, with Pastor Tony Coy officiating.
