Gary Dale Gallimore, 51, of West Mansfield, known to many as Dale, passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, September 20, 2026, following a hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born on March 16, 1975, in Columbus, Ohio.
Dale was a truck driver with Phelps Farms for many years. He was known for enjoying his Wheel Horse tractors and working, pursuits that reflected the steady, hands-on spirit that shaped his life.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of over 27 years, Brandy (Hensley) Gallimore; his children, Shelby Gallimore, Jacob (Paige Benline) Gallimore, and Hannah (Shawn Townsend) Gallimore; and his grandchildren, Jase Lowry and Juniper Gallimore. He is also survived by his father, Gary Lee (Wilma Young) Gallimore; his mother, Alice (Long) Renn; his sister, Bridget (Gallimore) Wilkin; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Glenn Hensley and Martha Hensley; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, Schnurrenberger Chapel, 222 W. Center St., West Mansfield. A memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial contributions be made to the Logan County Cancer Society.
