Gary James Lane, 82, passed away Feb 3rd, 2026, in Zephyrhills, FL, where he resided with his wife Cathy of 26 years.
He was born August 4, 1943, in Kenton, OH, to Roy and Hazel Lane, and is survived by sisters Nancy Lewis, Kristie Smith, and Michelle Conley, and son David "Shady" Lane.
Gary graduated from West Mansfield High School in 1961 and was a proud dairy farmer and also served a term as the president of the West Mansfield Conservation Club.
He was a proud grandfather and enjoyed fishing, golfing, and playing cards.
Gary was a US Army veteran. His celebration of life will be determined at a later date.
