Judith Ann Harris Hodge, of DeGraff, passed away peacefully on January 31, 2026, at Logan Acres Senior Community.
Judy was born on March 5, 1941, to Wayne and Irene Harris in Springfield, Ohio. She was a graduate of Springfield Shawnee High School and Fredrick’s Beauty Academy. Judith married Kenneth Neal Hodge on July 30, 1960. She worked as a beautician until she decided to stay home to raise her family. Later in life, she worked at Irwin’s Animal Hospital and the J.C. Penney Co. of Bellefontaine.
Judith is survived by a daughter Keri (Rick) Thomas of West Liberty and a son Jeffrey Hodge of DeGraff; 5 grandchildren Tiffany (Allen) Stoner of Belle Center, Danielle (Troy) Jenkins of Belle Center, Erik (Erin) Thomas of Sylvania, Brady (Mia) Thomas of Columbus, Darby (Justin) Dallas of Ashland, Kentucky; 7 great-grandchildren Alicia (Maxwell) Leezer, Kainan (Brittney) Stoner, Kyren Stoner, Clayton Jenkins, Thraine Dallas, Rennick Dallas, Charlotte Thomas; 2 sisters Diana (Dave) Long, Melinda Cutlip; and brother-in-law John Vallery.
She was preceded in death by Kenny, her husband of 40 years; parents Wayne (Doris) Harris and Irene Harris; mother and father-in-law William and Louise Hodge; and sister Claudia Vallery.
Judy and Ken belonged to the Buckeye Stars Camping Club for many years. With this club, they went on many weekend ventures with family and friends. Judy most enjoyed gardening and wine tasting tours with the girls.
Visitation will take place at Jennings, Farley & Seeley Funeral Home on Friday, February 6, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm, with a service to immediately follow. Burial will take place in Highland Memorial Cemetery following the service.
