Leanna Kay McClure
1950-2025

Leanna Kay McClure, 75, of rural Bellefontaine, passed away Tuesday evening, November 11, 2025, at her home.

Kay was born in Kenton, Ohio, on August 13, 1950, to the late Leo and Florence (Elliott) Mortimore.  She married Timothy Mark McClure on April 6, 1995, in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and he preceded her in death on October 6, 2018.  Kay was also preceded in death by her sister, Janice Ledley.

Kay is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Stefanie and Tom Wildermuth of Zanesfield; grandchildren: Brayden (Danielle) Wall of Colorado Springs, CO, and Madison Wildermuth of Zanesfield; a great-granddaughter, Evvy Bray Wall; and sister Tamara Fleming of West Mansfield.

A 1968 graduate of Buckeye Local High School, Kay worked as a secretary for Benjamin Logan Schools for 18 years.  She also did accounting work for the grocery store.  Kay loved traveling and taking care of things around her home – both in Ohio and in Florida.  She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, from 11 am – 1 pm, at the Eichholtz & Daring Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Bellefontaine. They will have a private funeral service, and burial will be in Harper Cemetery.
