Linda Kay Lautzenheiser
1941-2026

Linda Kay Lautzenheiser, 84, of Belle Center, OH, passed away Sunday afternoon, March 1, 2026, at Logan Acres Care, Bellefontaine, OH.

Linda was born on November 14, 1941, in Lima, OH, a daughter of the late Lavern Clarence and Julia (Schulte) Cunningham. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Cunningham and Paul Cunningham, and brothers/sisters-in-law, Charles L. “Chuck” Lautzenheiser, Gilbert “Jack” Lautzenheiser, Janet L. (Glenn) Kerr, Garry Tabler, and Sue Ann Lautzenheiser.

Linda married Richard E. “Dick” Lautzenheiser on November 27, 1963, at St. Rose Catholic Church in Lima, and he survives. She is also survived by a son, Richard E. (Rita) Lautzenheiser, Jr. of Salem, OR, three grandsons, Brandon Lautzenheiser of Lima, Shaun (Dana) Lautzenheiser of Enon, OH, and Nathan Lautzenheiser of Charleston, WV, six great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Pat Lautzenheiser, and Vicky Tabler, both of Lima, and a brother-in-law, William “Bill” Lautzenheiser of Hickory, NC, and several nieces and nephews.

Linda was a 1961 graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School. At the age of 45 and her son grown, Linda proudly graduated from Northwestern Business College in Lima. She worked in Lima for the Job Training Partnership Act and retired after 15 years. Linda was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, Altar Rosary Sodality, Catholic Ladies of Columbia, Indian Lake Ladies of the Moose, and Indian Lake Eagles Aeries #3615. Linda enjoyed cooking, boating, working on crossword puzzles, and operating computers. In her younger years, she enjoyed roller skating and dancing competitively. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family.

Reverend Shawn Landenwitch will begin Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 pm, Thursday, March 5, 2026, at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church, 464 Madison Ave, Russells Point, OH, with visitation from 10:00 am -12:00 pm. Burial is in Huntsville Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution may be given in Linda’s memory to St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
