Lisa Leigh (McMichael) Partin, 50, of Lakeview, passed away in the early hours of August 11th 2026, at Ohio Health Hospice House in Columbus, Ohio, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Lisa was born in Lima, Ohio, on March 4th 1976, to David (Cindy) McMichael of Mendon, Ohio, and Debra (Pollock) DeLano of Ocala, Florida, who survives.
She married the love of her life, Christopher Allen Partin, on May 4th, 2024, who survives. She is also survived by her daughters and step-daughter, Rebecca (Steven) Glass of Bellefontaine, Morgan (Tony) Fusco of Lima, and Emma Partin; her grand babies Rylan, Nova, Paris, Lilly, Carter, Sammy, and Amaya; mother in law Paula Partin; grandmother Marilyn Zimpher; aunts and uncles Robin (David) Kimmey, Rita Zimpher, Bob and Nancy McMichael all of Spencerville, Larry and Sharon Seibert of St. Mary's, Jim and Dorothy Seibert of Warrenton VA, and Dan Seibert of Dayton, Gary Pollock of Glencoe MN, and John Pollock of Gardner, KS; and many cousins and great friends.
Lisa was preceded in death by her brother Jason McMichael; father-in-law Barney Partin; grandparents Robert Zimpher, Paul F. McMichael, Eleanor and Paul Shuey, Dale and Pearl Pollock; aunt Deb Roby; and uncles Robert and Don Pollock.
Lisa was the first shift supervisor at One World Logistics in East Liberty, Ohio. Lisa was a hard worker, so much so that she continued to work for as long as her body would let her. She would go to work before and after chemo treatments in Columbus. She loved her job and made many great friends along the way. Lisa was a source of love and laughter to everyone who knew her, and she knew no stranger. Lisa was so passionate about everything she did; she was most passionate about her family, especially her girls. They were her everything, and she was so proud of them. Lisa loved the little things in life. She loved being out and about with her husband at a restaurant, casino, or ballgame. She grew to love Cleveland baseball and The Ohio State Buckeyes thanks to her husband, whom she loved dearly. Lisa's favorite hobbies were cooking and crocheting blankets for many whom she loved. She enjoyed cooking for her family, and she was so good at it. She spent many days and hours after her diagnosis crocheting blankets for as many people in her life as she could. She loved to gift her work. Lisa was a giver, a lover, a friend, but most importantly, she was a fighter. She never gave up and always followed what she thought was right, and nothing could stop her.
Lisa will truly be missed by so many, and although her time here with us was too short, her memory will forever live on in our hearts. She fought a hard fight and faced her daily battle with cancer with unmatched courage. Even on her hardest days, she fought fiercely, keeping her hope bright, a beautiful smile on her face, and her love for her family first. Her strength allowed her to cherish incredible milestones this year, including watching her oldest daughter get married and holding her newborn granddaughter for the very first time.
Her family extends deep gratitude to her medical team at Ohio Health Riverside in Columbus, who fought alongside her. Without their dedicated care and support, we would not have been blessed to share these precious moments and have her with us for as long as we did.
Pastor Tom Shobe will officiate Lisa's funeral service Tuesday, August 18th at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 pm, with her funeral starting at 2:00 p.m. Burial at Spencerville Cemetery to follow.
