1953-2025
Michael William O’Brien was born on March 15th, 1953, to Mary and John O’Brien. He attended Pacelli High School in Columbus, Georgia, before graduating from Columbus State University. He worked tirelessly for Pepsi Co for thirty years, climbing the corporate ladder as he went.
He is survived by his spouse (Tina), a brother (Kevin), son (Sean), and three grandchildren (Aiden, Liam, and Lilie). Michael was a fervent supporter of nature, had an analytical mindset, and was a proponent of self-education and self-reliance. He had the ability to establish a rapport with anyone he met and left a lasting positive impact on practically everyone. Being a life-long Atlanta Braves and Georgia Bulldogs fan, Michael was quite passionate about supporting his teams.
Michael passed away comfortably at home, in Canton, Georgia, on November 27th, 2025.
A celebration of life will be held by the family in March 2026.
