1938-2026
Patricia Diane (Roberts) Hill, 87, of North Lewisburg, went home to be with the Lord on April 4, 2026, at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born on August 27, 1938, in Turley, Oklahoma, a daughter of the late Floyd L. Roberts, Sr., and Mildred I. (Armstrong) Roberts. On March 20, 1958, she married the love of her life, Loring D. Hill, beginning a devoted marriage that was blessed with five children.
Pat, as everyone knew her, was a devoted military wife and homemaker who dedicated her life to raising her children and caring for her family. Family meant everything to her, and she took great pride in creating a loving home. She loved staying busy, always on the go, and ready for her next adventure. She spent countless hours crocheting afghans and heartfelt gifts for those she loved. She enjoyed gardening and tending to her flowers, bowling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. Pat found joy in the simple, beautiful things in life.
She was well known as the ‘Tupperware Lady,’ having sold Tupperware for many years and enjoying the friendships she formed along the way. She worked for 13 years at Meijer before retiring. She was a member of Hill and Valley Club, Maple Acres Garden Club, and a longtime member of Union Chapel Church, where she was active in the Ladies Aide. More recently, she became a member of the East Liberty Community Church, where she faithfully attended service.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Tina (Jeff Neeld) Akers and Milena (David) Price, with whom she made her home in recent years; her grandchildren, Shawn (Jessica) Akers, Amber (Alan) Evans and Joshua (Tiffani) Akers; her great-grandchildren, Ethan, Ashlyn, Madilynn, and Jacob; her step-daughters, Lorraine Nicholson and Lynn (Emilio) Remedi and their families; her brother, Ronnie (Ruby) Roberts; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was welcomed into heaven by her husband, Loring; her sons, Allen, Burnice, and Darel Hill; her sister, Connie Douglas; her brother, Floyd L. Roberts, Jr., and special friend Jim Phipps.
A gathering of family and friends to celebrate Pat’s life will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 12, 2026, in the FRESHWATER, MCDONALD & VERNON FUNERAL HOME, North Lewisburg.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, in the East Liberty Community Church, with Pastor Linda Dulin-Moore and Pastor John Dritt officiating. She will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery in North Lewisburg.
