Paul Douglas Taylor Jr.
1964-2026

Paul Douglas Taylor Jr., 61, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 26, 2026, at Mary Rutan Hospital in Bellefontaine. He was born in Bellefontaine, Ohio, on October 8, 1964, to the late Paul Douglas Sr. and Valorie Jean (Deslandes) Taylor.

On June 12, 1999, he married Teresa (Crump) Taylor, and she survives.

Paul is also survived by his sisters, Danielle Marie (Fernando) Smith, Vera Jeanine Taylor, Paula Jean Causey, and Helena Ann (Jim) Berton; brothers, Dallas Dwight Williams, Anthony Edward Taylor, and Aaron Stephen Taylor I; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Along with his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Louise Dixon, and a brother, Jesse Deslandes Williams.

Paul took great pride in sharing the good news of God’s Kingdom. As an elder in the Bellefontaine Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, he was well known for his warm character and never one to hold grudges or treat anyone as a stranger. Paul was also a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 32. With a witty sense of humor and a caring nature, he consistently helped others and lifted their spirits. An avid sports fan, he especially loved The Ohio State Buckeyes. Paul’s memorable phrases or “Paulisms”, like “Where we eatin’?” and “I’m hungie,” he became known for. He leaves behind many who cherished him and will deeply miss him.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on February 15, 2026, at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1801 Wright Street, Bellefontaine.
