Phyllis was a member of the Zanesfield United Methodist Church.  She was a 4-H Advisor for many years.  Her hobbies included painting and drawing, gardening, and tending to her many flower beds.  She was a big fan of the Cincinnati Reds and OSU Buckeyes, and loved feeding, caring for, and watching the menagerie of birds in her backyard.  Above all else, she dearly loved her family and extended family.

She is survived by her three children, Stephen (Kayleen) Foreman of West Liberty, William (Mary) Foreman of Bellefontaine, Pamela (Lee) Defibaugh of Locust Grove, VA; Grandchildren, Jennifer Foreman, Stephanie (Wes) Ballard, Grant (Mandy) Foreman, Dustin Williams, Bobbi Myers, Jamie Myers, Toni Myers, Mitchell Cheadle, Matt Cheadle, MacKenzie Neer, Carmen Link, Justin Defibaugh, Megan (Bryan New) Defibaugh; 28 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and Sister-in-law, Patricia Foreman.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Herbert E. Foreman, grandson Cody Laird; niece and nephews, Lois and David Messer and Greg Messer.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 6, 2023, at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home and Crematory 5591 US Route 68 S. West Liberty, Ohio 43357. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
