1939-2026
Ronald P. Coleman, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend to many, passed away peacefully in the loving care of his sister, in her home on June 2, 2026.
Ronny was born on October 3, 1939, in Two Rivers, Wisconsin, to the late Franklin P. and Stella C. Coleman. He was a loving man of quick wit that he inherited from his father, and it carried him through to the end.
Ronny was a 30-year retiree from Navistar and a Zane Township Trustee, where he met many lifelong friends. He graduated from Perry Zane High School in 1957. He enjoyed golfing, camping, working on old cars, and a good joke.
In 1957, he married Janet S. Watkins, with whom he had 3 children. He is survived by his children, Rhonda (Kevin) Grove, Todd "Murph" Coleman (Connie), and Duane (Lisa) Coleman. His grandchildren, Kyle, Bradley, Scott, Mykala, Mia, Collin, and Izzy, his 5 great grandchildren, his wife, Linda Shoemaker Coleman of Sidney, Stepmother, Beverly Coleman, and sister, Tamara (Jim) Van Ness.
Per Ronny's wishes, no services will be held.
