Ruth Ann (Herd) Tallman, 88 of West Liberty passed away suddenly Saturday, September 14, 2024, at her residence in the Green Hills Community.
Ruth was born August 13, 1936, in Peoria, OH to the late Delbert and Margret (Eddy) Herd.
Ruth enjoyed going to lunch with her sisters and watching The Ohio State Buckeye and Nebraska Corn Huskers play football. She loved spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. Ruth will be deeply missed by all who know her.
She is survived by her children, Beverly (Todd) Strawsburg of Mechanicsburg, OH, Peg Miller of Sidney, OH, Lisa (Scott) Wiley of Richwood, OH, Greg (Monica) Tallman of Missouri Valley, IA and Elizabeth (Jeff) Heim of Tekamah, NE; many loving grand and great-grandchildren; sisters, Janet Watkins, Rose Marie Shape, Juanita Ely and Carol Ann Curtis; numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Dwight, Bob, and Butch; sisters, Maxine, Martha and Patricia.
A private family graveside service will take place at a later date.
