1991-2024
Sean P. Reese, 33, of Lakeview, OH passed away Monday morning, November 25, 2024, at OSU Wexner Medical Center, Columbus, OH after a long battle with health issues.
Sean was born on April 4, 1991, in Lima, OH, a son of Tim and Mariann Martin Reese, who survive in Russells Point, OH. Sean is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas Martin, paternal grandparents, Jack and Mary Reese, and uncle, Dennis Reese.
Sean is survived by his parents, his son, Henry Reese, his sister, Shannon Reese, and his maternal grandmother, Judy Martin of Russells Point.
Sean was a 2010 graduate of Indian Lake High School. He became a firefighter in June 2010 and served as a volunteer firefighter with the Indian Joint Fire District, where he was also a certified diver on the dive team. He enjoyed his many travels around the country with Paul Brookhart at Hidden Brook Transport. Sean enjoyed everything outdoors, be it farming, hunting, and fishing. Sean loved more than anything attending his son, Henry’s activities from his front-row seat. Sean was very thankful for the time spent and memories made for Henry, with special thanks to Kaity Overmyer and her family. Sean’s greatest love was for his family, and with friends and neighbors who were more like family. From summer gatherings on Wilgus Dr to weekend fish fries with Travis Greve and family, Sean never missed an opportunity to surround himself with the ones he loved most. Sean’s big contagious smile that would light up a room and perfect bear hugs will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Pastors Karen Blackburn and Jim Ellington will begin memorial services at 3:00 pm, Saturday, December 7, 2024, at Indian Lake Community Church, 121 N. Orchard Island Rd, Russells Point, with visiting from 1-3 pm.
