Sharon Focht, 86, of Celebration, Florida, and formerly of St Paris, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, in Celebration, Florida.
She was born on October 21, 1939, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to Clair Lyman and Mary Marie Joslin Lyman Hott.
She is survived by her son, Bryan (Diane) Focht, five grandchildren: Erin Focht Demby, Jennifer Focht Buehrle, Kelly Focht, Benjamin Gueth, and Daphne Hadjivassiliou, 5 great grandchildren, and 3 nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Focht; son, Brent Focht; parents; brother, Dick Lyman; and daughter-in-law, Joette Focht.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 – 11:30 AM on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in ATKINS, SHIVELY & VERNON Funeral Home, St. Paris, Ohio.
Funeral service will follow at 11:30 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Doug Ware officiating.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris, Ohio.
