Tambra “Tammy” Lynn Fields, 66 of Bellefontaine passed suddenly in her sleep Saturday, September 19, 2026 at her residence.
Tammy was born August 18, 1960 in Lima, OH to Floyd M. Fields and Roberta L. (Titus) Bell. Later in life she gained a second mom, Peggy (McLaughlin) Fields. They both loved each other and treated each other like mother and daughter.
Tammy is survived by her sons, Michael Wolford and Shawn Pope; granddaughters, Sierra Rain Wolford and Gabby Lynn Wolford; mothers, Roberta L. (Titus) Bell and Peggy Fields; brother, Doug Fields; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Tammy worked at American Pan for 12 years before recently retiring. She enjoyed reading—especially romance novels—traveling, gambling, attending concerts, playing Super Mario, and watching movies. Full of life and love, she was an active and devoted mother who spent many hours playing Super Mario with her two boys. Tammy took great pride in her sons: Shawn for graduating from The Ohio State University, his responsibility, and his many other accomplishments; and Michael for his musical talents in playing and singing, as well as for overcoming many adversities. Tammy was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.
Tammy is preceded in death by her father, Floyd M. Fields.
A Celebration of Life will take place Friday, September 25, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at Jennings Farley & Seeley Funeral Home, 5591 US Hwy 68 S., West Liberty, OH 43357. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service.
Memorial Contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
