1960-2026
Teanda “T” Ray Lotts, 65, of Indian Lake, passed away peacefully in her home on January 17th, 2026, after a courageous battle with Cancer.
Teanda was born on October 29, 1960, in Bellefontaine, to Glenn and Beverley Anne (Van Horn) Daniels. On July 7, 2007, Teanda married Michael E. Lotts, and he preceded her in death on February 13, 2023. She was also preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Jesse Beair.
She was a 1979 graduate of Bellefontaine High School and went on to hold many serving positions around Logan County, including The Red Lantern and Aunt Millie’s for many years. After hanging up her serving apron, she went to work at AGC Automotive, which she left shortly after Mike passed away in 2023.
Teanda is survived by her daughters, Tray Cavinder (Chip Kuhn) of Russells Point and Megan Cavinder (Jeremy Zwiebel) of Bellefontaine. She is also survived by her stepson, Nick Lotts of Cincinnati. Known as “sister golden hair” or “the twisted sister,” she leaves behind siblings Jodi (Louie) Bayless of Delaware, Petey Daniels of Bellefontaine, Jaymes Daniels of Urbana, and Kish Daniels of Bellefontaine. She was lucky enough to be given the gift of four grandchildren, whom she loved very much: Connor Daniels, Blayden Hurley, Maryssa Hurley (Dominic Henderson), and Nicholas Beair Jr., along with two great-granddaughters, Hazlie Hurley and Violet Henderson. In addition to these family members, she leaves behind several nieces, nephews, cousins, numerous friends she’s made throughout the years, and a special friend, Jim Boysel.
Teanda was always quite the spitfire, and she left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, playing Yahtzee or card games, and rooting for The Ohio State Buckeyes or the Cincinnati Bengals.
Chaplain R. Kevin Hall will begin funeral services at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 23, 2026, at Shoffstall Funeral Home, 205 S. Main St., Lakeview, with visitation from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm. Burial will follow in Huntsville Cemetery. The family requests casual clothing for her services with OSU or Bengals attire.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
Arrangements are in the care of Shoffstall Funeral Home, Lakeview, OH. Condolences may be expressed at shoffstallfuneralhome.com.
