Terrence (Terry) Lee Titus
1944-2025

Terrence (Terry) Lee Titus, 81, of Bellefontaine, passed away at 7:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at his home. He was born in Springfield, Ohio, on May 2, 1944, a son of the late Carl Willis Titus and Rita Barbara (Strueing) Titus.

On November 7, 1964, Terry married Lucy Arlene (Hurley) Titus in Bellefontaine, Ohio and she survives, along with their three sons, Michael (Kimberly) Titus, David (Marsha) Titus, and Steven (Faith) Titus,; grandchildren, Jessica (Jesse) Nichols, Heather (Brandon Lycans) Titus, Chelsea (Ryan) Turner, Nathan (Linsey) Titus, Tylere Titus, Ashley (Spencer McGee) Cantrell, Jason (Lisa) Cox, Jordy Wade, Michael Stotler, Larry Piatt, and Matt (Taylor) Piatt; great grandchildren, Rylee, Kingston, Jay, Jon, Ila, Winter, Lochlan, Hannah, Madison, Audree, Hudson, Sutton, Madison, Levi, Dimitri, Deklin, Jordan, Ila, Claire, Cash, Charlie, and Benson; two sisters, Cecelia Keating, and Mary Anita Reames; sister-in-law, Beverly Titus; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his favorite K-9 companions “Jake” and “Molly”. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by two brothers, Joel Titus and Kay Titus; sister-in-law, Nancy Titus; brother-in-law, John Keating; father-in-law, Luther (Hazel) Hurley; and mother-in-law, Miriam (Dean) Bunnell.

A 1963 graduate of Buckeye Local High School, Terry had retired from Copeland following 46 years of dedicated service. He was a third-generation farmer who spent his life living in the fields and had a love for antique tractors and farm shows. Terry was a dedicated husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at the Daring & Sanford Funeral Home, 210 W. Hayes Street in DeGraff. Father Shawn Landenwitch will officiate a funeral service at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the funeral home. Per Terry’s wishes, cremation will follow services.
