Tracy Lynn Frazier
1964-2026

Tracy Lynn Frazier, 61, of Bellefontaine, Ohio, passed away on July 10, 2026. She was born on November 16, 1964, in West Liberty, Ohio.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Alice Slonecker; her father, Richard Max Slonecker; her sister, Shari Slonecker Bellamy; her first beloved cat, Kitty Girl; and her faithful dachshunds, Samantha, Boo-Boo, and Lucy Bean.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Nick Frazier.

She is survived by her son, John Franck IV, his wife, Sarah, and their daughter, Ellie Franck.

She is also survived by her cousin, best friend, and "second sister," Marie Baughman. Tracy also leaves behind her beloved feline companions, Raffi, Iggy, and Mousey, as well as many aunts, cousins, stepchildren, step-grandchildren, extended family members, and countless friends who became family throughout her life.

Tracy believed the best memories were the ones made with the people you love. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, Tennessee, Orlando, Florida, and Cocoa Beach. Anywhere she could put her toes in the sand was exactly where she wanted to be, especially during Ohio's cold winter months.

She loved word games, good music, meaningful conversation, and cooking for family and friends. Tracy never knew a stranger. Her home was always open, and John and his friends always knew they were welcome. That spirit of hospitality stayed with her throughout her life. Whether someone stopped by for dinner, to watch a game, or just to talk, Tracy had a way of making people feel at home.

Later in life, thanks to her husband, Nick, Tracy became an enthusiastic sports fan. She loved cheering on the Cincinnati Reds, the University of Dayton Flyers, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Cleveland Browns. Whether she knew every rule didn't matter. She loved sharing the excitement with the people around her.

Tracy had a remarkable gift for making people feel loved. Taking care of the people, the animals, and the home she loved wasn't a chore to her. It was one of the ways she expressed her love.

She took great pride in her home, not because everything had to be perfect, but because creating a warm and welcoming place for family and friends brought her genuine happiness. Every room reflected her creativity, every detail had a purpose, and everyone who walked through her door knew they were welcome. Her home wasn't simply where she lived. It was where she loved, where she gathered the people who mattered most, and where countless memories were made.

She was funny, incredibly thoughtful, and one of the most generous people you could ever meet. Tracy had a special talent for finding the perfect gift, often remembering the little things that others forgot. She genuinely loved giving to the people she cared about, and nowhere was that more evident than at Christmastime. Christmas was her favorite season. She loved decorating, creating traditions, and finding meaningful gifts that brought joy to the people she loved.

Tracy was exceptionally intelligent and never afraid to share her opinion. She had a way of seeing things clearly and, much to the playful frustration of those closest to her, she was usually right. She loved a good conversation, appreciated different perspectives, and had a quick wit that could make people laugh when they least expected it.

Animals always held a special place in Tracy's heart. Her cats, Raffi, Iggy, and Mousey, were cherished members of the family and brought her comfort, companionship, and unconditional love.

One of Tracy's greatest joys was becoming "Nanny" to Ellie. She was always thinking of her granddaughter and was always on the lookout for something that would make her smile, whether it was a new princess dress, a new stuffed friend, or, more often than not, fresh fruit from the farmers market because she knew how much Ellie loved it. The gifts themselves were never the point. They were simply another way for Tracy to say, "I love you."

Every moment Nanny and Ellie spent together was precious, and their bedtime talks became some of Ellie's favorite memories. Filled with stories, laughter, and unconditional love, those moments will forever be treasured by her family.

Above all else, Tracy will be remembered for the way she made people feel. She loved deeply, gave generously, welcomed everyone into her home, and found joy in caring for the people and things that meant the most to her. Her love will continue to live on in the family she cherished, the friends she welcomed, and the countless lives she touched.

In accordance with Tracy's wishes, she will be cremated.

A celebration of Tracy's life will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 2- 5 p.m. at Hunters Ridge Club House, 216 Pine Ridge Ct., Bellefontaine, Ohio 43311.
