William W. Shultz, 76, of DeGraff, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2026, after a battle with cancer.
He was born December 8, 1949, in Bellefontaine, Ohio, to the late Farrell M. and Erma (Lovett) Shultz.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Bowen) Shultz, whom he married on February 26, 1977, in Wooster, Ohio; his son, Joseph; daughter-in-law, Virginia Kromm; his beloved grandchildren, Isabelle and William; and his sister, Ann Morrison.
Along with his parents, Bill was also preceded in death by his sister, Sarah Plahovinsak.
Bill graduated from Indian Lake High School and The Ohio State University College of Agriculture. He loved agriculture and spent his life working the family farm near DeGraff, where he was a renowned producer of purebred sheep and later turned his focus to planting thousands of trees. Bill was a leader in the sheep industry, serving as President of the Ohio Sheep Improvement Association and earning many national recognitions over the years.
In keeping with Bill's wishes, a private service and burial will be held for family.
