The Logan County Sewer District is accepting applications and resumes for the position of Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator
The Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Operator position serves as the back-up Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC) for the Indian Lake Regional WWTP and the Flat Branch WWTP. Operators work with other operational & supervisory staff to ensure plant operations and maintenance tasks are completed. This position also monitors operating data and lab results to adjust plant operating parameters, and other assignments as directed. The normal work schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm and is part of the operational on-call and weekend rotation. The position requires a High School diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. The position also requires a Class II WWTP Operator license, issued by the Ohio EPA, within 48 months of hire. The Logan County Sewer District is committed to staff development and will provide training and support for the selected candidate to obtain the required Class II WWTP Operator license within 48 months of hire, if not already possessed. Individuals with a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn are encouraged to apply, even if they lack the required licensing. This position is hourly with a pay
range of $23.90/hr. to $32.40/hr. depending on experience and licensing. The selected candidate must pass a criminal background check and drug test.
