The Logan County Sewer District is accepting applications and resumes for the position of Collection System Operator
The Collection System Operator position serves as the back-up Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC) for the Indian Lake Regional Sanitary Sewer system and the Flat Branch Sanitary Sewer system. Operators work with other operational & supervisory staff to ensure sewer system operations and maintenance tasks are performed properly. This position also assists, as directed, with maintenance of district buildings and assets. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm and is part of the operational on call rotation. The position requires the selected candidate to possess a High School diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license as well as obtain an Ohio Class A Commercial Driver’s License with air brake and tanker endorsements and a Class I Collection Operator license, issued by the Ohio EPA. The Logan County Sewer District is committed to staff development and will provide training for the selected candidate to obtain the required Class I Collection System Operator license and CDL licensing. This full-time position is hourly (40hrs/week) with a pay range of $23.07/hr. to $29.94/hr. depending on experience and licensing. The selected candidate must pass a criminal background check and drug test. All positions are
subject to a probationary period of 12 months. All Logan County Sewer District employees must maintain a driving record acceptable to the county’s insurance carrier. The application
