Firefighters from multiple departments responded to a house fire Friday morning in northern Champaign County, just south of West Liberty.
The fire was reported around 11:45 a.m. in the 9000 block of Carey Road. The back side of the house was fully involved in flames, according to information provided from the scene.
According to the Champaign County Auditor’s Office, the property is owned by Drew Rostorfer.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and additional details about the circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been released.
The DeGraff Fire Department, Miami Township Fire Department, Rosewood Fire Department, Mac-O-Chee Ambulance and EMS, Jackson-Salem Township Fire District and West Liberty Fire Department responded to assist at the scene.
