This week, V-Teck Communications is at the Summer Enrichment Academy at Bellefontaine High School teaching a class on being a sports broadcaster.
Students have been learning the art of play-by-play, how to interview coaches and athletes, and debating sports topics.
Wednesday night, they called a baseball game live at Blue Jacket Park.
On Thursday, they created their own sports podcast. The students picked 9 topics that covered the NBA, NFL, MLB, NCAA, and the Ohio State Buckeyes.
This year’s class consists of Isaac Erickson, Reed Cascioli, Owen Smith, Emma Smith, Desmond Howard, Sammy Strayer, and Beau Gibson (Gibson was absent from the podcast).
