An 18-year-old Urbana man is facing multiple charges following a reported disturbance late Thursday night at a North Main Street property.
According to a report from the Urbana Police Division, officers were dispatched to the 500 block of North Main Street at approximately 11:40 p.m. on September 17 for a report of a male refusing to leave the property.
Police identified the man as Hunter Kiskis, 18, of Urbana.
According to the report, officers were told Kiskis was allegedly involved in a confrontation with people at the property and was refusing to leave.
When an officer arrived, Kiskis was reportedly standing on the property and yelling. Police said Kiskis claimed he was attempting to make sure he had all of his belongings.
According to the report, several people at the residence told officers they had asked Kiskis to leave multiple times. Police said Kiskis allegedly continued yelling, cursing, and making threats.
One person reported that Kiskis pushed him during the incident, according to the police report.
Another person told officers Kiskis had been invited to the property but later became loud and was asked to leave several times. Police said Kiskis continued going outside and returning inside while causing a disturbance.
The report states Kiskis was warned about his behavior when officers first arrived. After speaking with those involved, police returned to Kiskis and placed him under arrest.
Kiskis was advised of his Miranda rights, according to the report. Police said he continued making derogatory statements toward an officer while being taken to a cruiser.
Kiskis was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
He was charged with criminal trespass, menacing and disorderly conduct.
Court records show Kiskis entered a not guilty plea. His arraignment was continued several times, with the most recent court date scheduled for September 24 at 3 p.m.
