Marching bands from across the area will come together Saturday night for the 40th annual Band Spectacular at AcuSport Stadium in Bellefontaine.
The event begins at 7 p.m. and features eight area high school bands, including Riverside, Jackson Center, Triad, Urbana, North Union, Lincolnview, Benjamin Logan and Bellefontaine.
The Band Spectacular began as a competition but has evolved into a performance opportunity for area bands, with a variety of musical styles and shows featured throughout the evening.
Admission is $7, with tickets available at the gate or online.
The evening will conclude with a special patriotic performance featuring 400 performers, marking the event’s 40th anniversary and the America 250 celebration.
Concessions and 50/50 tickets will also be available.
