It was an exciting day at Benjamin Logan Schools as the school district had an initial groundbreaking ceremony for the new track and turf football field Friday at noon.
The replacement of the track and improvement of the football field has been discussed for at least the last few years and monies that have recently become present have enabled Benjamin Logan to make the necessary improvements to the track and football field.
The new state-of-the-art track and football field will be very well received by the Benjamin Logan community, as well as by other visiting Logan County schools that will also use their new facility for invitationals, games, and other athletic events.
Because of the conditions of the current track and football field, Benjamin Logan wanted to do something immediate and right for the successful future of the district.
Superintendent John Scheu explains why the groundbreaking for the state-of-the-art track and football field will be well received by the Benjamin Logan community and the Logan County community as a whole:
