Ten Benjamin Logan High School juniors have been selected to attend the 2026 American Legion Buckeye Boys State program at Miami University in Oxford from June 14 through June 21.

Buckeye Boys State is one of Ohio’s premier leadership programs for high school students.

The week-long event gives participants hands-on experience with government, elections, leadership, and citizenship while helping them develop skills that can benefit them in college and beyond.

Students were encouraged to apply after attending an informational presentation led by Matt Chamberlain and several Benjamin Logan seniors who shared their experiences with the program.

School officials thanked Chamberlain for helping introduce students to the opportunity.
