The Bellefontaine Police K9 Unit made a big drug bust just after 5:30 Wednesday evening.
Officers stopped Isai Mariscal, 30, of Columbus, for a registration violation in the 300 block of West Columbus Avenue.
Mariscal provided authorities with a Mexico identification card and spoke very little English.
Upon investigation, officers recovered a large amount of heroin packaged for sale, a large amount of cocaine packaged for sale, and suspected fentanyl.
Authorities also found a digital scale, packaging material, and $4,413 in cash.
Mariscal was placed under arrest and lodged in the Logan County Jail.
He was charged with trafficking in heroin, possession of heroin, trafficking in cocaine, and possession of cocaine with additional charges pending.
The investigation continues.
