A 44-year-old Bellefontaine man is facing a drug possession charge after police found 139 prescription pills in his vehicle.
Jason England was pulled over Saturday around 5:15 p.m. near Speedy Mart on South Main Street for an improper turn and an obstructed license plate.
England permitted officers to search his vehicle and told them there were pills in the glove box that a friend had given him.
Officers found 139 pills in an unlabeled prescription bottle.
The medication was identified as Pantoprazole, which requires a prescription.
England was issued a court summons for possession of a dangerous drug and will appear in Bellefontaine Municipal Court later this week.
