Funeral planning, changing traditions, and end-of-life decisions are often considered taboo subjects.
The reality that death is something everyone will eventually face is not an easy conversation for many people.
With that in mind, we set out to start a conversation about some of life’s most difficult topics, including funeral planning, changing trends, and what families should know when preparing for the inevitable.
There was no better place to start that conversation than with Trey Daring, a familiar face in the Bellefontaine community and owner at Eichholtz Funeral Home.
A native of Bellefontaine, Trey joined the Eichholtz Funeral Home family in 2006 after spending four years working in Loudonville with Walt Lindsey, a past president of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association.
He became a managing partner at Eichholtz Funeral Home in 2012.
With years of experience in funeral service and strong ties to the community, Trey brings a local perspective to a subject many people would rather avoid.
Trey joined News Director April King, Sunday Morning on 98.3 WPKO’s show Listen Up!:
The goal of the conversation is simple: make it easier to talk about something that affects every family.
