The all-clear has been given after an incident on a Bellefontaine City Schools bus Tuesday afternoon.
A secondary bus (middle school/high school route) was evacuated around 3:30 p.m. after a middle school student claimed to have placed a bomb on the bus.
The bus was evacuated in the BHS parking lot “out of an abundance of caution.”
The Bellefontaine Police Department secured a perimeter around the bus.
The Allen County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad assisted at the scene.
No explosives were found.
Roads near the high school were also temporarily closed.
The incident remains under investigation.
