Benjamin Logan High School has announced their Seniors of the Month, Evan Carpenter and Mya Burrey.
Evan Carpenter is the son of Chad and Ann Carpenter.
School activities and awards: Soccer, Wrestling, Track, BPA, Youth Allocations, ROOTS, and National Honor Society.
If I were principal for a day: I’d have a school-wide trip to Cedar Point.
Favorite School Memory: Junior year Physics class with Mr. Kettler.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: My parents, friends, and David Goggins.
Lately, I have been reading: The Cay by Theodore Taylor.
My advice to parents: Be patient and communicate.
My biggest regret: I have no regrets.
Next year I will be: Hopefully alive, studying engineering, and enjoying college.
Mya Burrey is the daughter of Tina Burrey and Jeremy Burrey.
School activities and awards: Soccer, Basketball, Track and Field, National Honor Society, ROC, ROOTS, FCA, and CBC Athlete of the Month.
If I were principal for a day: I would cancel school.
Favorite school memory: Mr. Stahl brings us donuts once a week in art class.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: Family, friends, and coaches.
Lately, I have been reading: Assignments
My advice to parents: You’re only a kid once, let them live.
My biggest regret: Losing sleep over school work.
Next year I will be: Going to college for dental hygiene.
