The Champaign County Farmers Market is back for the 2026 season, returning Saturday, May 2nd, with a wide variety of locally grown food and handmade products.
The market is held in Urbana at 127 E. Market Street, near the corner of Main and Market Streets, runs each Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to noon through October.
Shoppers can expect a one-stop destination for locally grown and locally made goods, including fresh vegetables and fruits, herbs, eggs, honey, baked goods, meats, and maple syrup. The market also features handmade items such as soaps, lotions, candles, crafts, and more.
Opening day brings a full lineup of vendors offering everything from sweet treats to fresh farm products and artisan goods, along with a few new additions this season.
One of the new vendors is Rose City Scents LLC. Owner Mary hand-pours each candle, focusing on strong, long-lasting scents designed to fill a room. Offerings include classics like Very Vanilla, along with signature scents such as Rose, Blazin Blueberry, and Maplewood Whiskey.
The market also featured Fifty5 Rivers Cold Brew on opening day, serving coffee, cold brew, lemonade, teas, and other refreshing drinks.
