Community Health and Wellness held a ribbon cutting Friday afternoon for their third school-based health center at Indian Lake Middle School.

The health center has been in the works since 2018.

The clinic opened last fall for mental health referrals and treatment. Case Manager Alayna Levingston provides intervention and Bethany Henry provides therapy. They continue to offer those services on-site daily.

As of January 4th, Nurse Practitioner Breanna Detrick and Medical Assistant Daun Myers are available during school hours for health care needs.

The facility is equipped with private patient spaces. The providers can offer diagnoses of common illnesses, work physicals, prescriptions, ordering of tests, certain rapid result tests, and some scheduled vaccinations for students in any grade level at Indian Lake and IL staff members.
