According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the crash happened shortly after 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of U.S. 33 and Township Road 99.
Troopers say two vehicles were traveling eastbound on U.S. 33 when a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Ryan King, 38, of Delaware, struck the rear of a 2017 Mazda SUV driven by Timothy Fisher, 69, of North Lewisburg.
Fisher suffered minor injuries and was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Indian Lake EMS.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol investigated the crash with assistance from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
The roadway was closed for approximately 50 minutes while emergency crews responded and the vehicles were removed from the scene.
Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
King was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

Emergency crews responded to the scene, and authorities temporarily shut down the roadway while they worked the crash.
At this time, officials have not released information regarding injuries, how many vehicles were involved, or what may have caused the crash.
Motorists are being asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes until the roadway reopens.
