A two-vehicle crash temporarily shut down eastbound U.S. 33 at County Road 57 Monday afternoon.
The crash, involving an SUV and a pickup truck, was reported at approximately 2:37 p.m. Traffic backed up from the Huntsville area toward Bellefontaine as emergency crews responded to the scene.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office, Bellefontaine Fire Department, Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department, and Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the crash.
Initial reports indicated no injuries were sustained in the collision. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
The roadway has since reopened, and traffic is once again flowing normally through the area. Additional information may be released as the investigation continues.
