Benjamin Logan recently named their seniors of the month.

Name: Kiley Daniels

Parents: Art and Katie Daniels

School activities and awards: FCCLA, FCA, Roots, ROC, Spanish Club Officer, Spanish National Honor Society Officer, National Honor Society, Garden Club, Student Section Co-Leader, CBC Honor Student, CBC All-Academic Team, Senior Homecoming Attendant, and Raider Pillar Awards.

If I were principal for a day: I would let the kids have their choice between naptime or recess for the whole day while I replaced the lockers with usable ones.

Favorite School Memory: Dancing to El Ritmo Vuelta in Spanish, or anything in Profa’s class really.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: Mom, dad, my sisters, Profa. Hughes, and Mrs. Freehauf.

Lately, I have been reading: Beloved by Toni Morrison and Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro.

My advice to parents: Relax and know that you did a great job raising me. I appreciate all that you’ve done and I wouldn’t be here without you guys.

My biggest regret: Not getting more involved sooner and stressing over insignificant things (not having more fun).

Next year I will be: Attending the University of Cincinnati pursuing a degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Name: Hunter Lattimer

Parents: Helen Lattimer

School activities and awards: Football, Powerlifting Club, Track, National Honor Society, CBC Honor Athlete, Honda Breakfast, and multiple Certificates of Excellence.

If I were principal for a day: I would give students a paper asking what things the school could improve on, furthermore excelling our school.

Favorite school memory: The day Brady, Josh, Yale, and I broke our school’s 4×400 record in a time of 3:27.24.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My mom, coaches, teachers, and friends.

Lately, I have been reading: Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins.

My advice to parents: Take a second to stop and think about all your achievements and all the hard work you put forth to reach them when you feel you can’t keep going.

My biggest regret: Is that I didn’t take more Spanish classes.

Next year I will be: Attending Ohio Northern University where I will be majoring in Civil Engineering and minoring in Spanish, chasing my dreams.
