The Logan County Sheriff’s Office handled two minor crashes Thursday.

The first crash happened just before 5:30 Thursday morning on State Route 292 near County Road 296.

23-year-old Dylan Harper of West Mansfield was driving a 2022 Volkswagen Atlas northbound when he went off the road to the left and struck a guardrail.

Harper then returned to the roadway, crossed the center line, and struck a ditch before re-entering the road.

He and his passenger were not injured.

Harper was cited for failure to control, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.

The second crash happened shortly after 10 Thursday night on U.S. Route 68.

A 2018 Ford Focus driven by 22-year-old Amanda Howland of Ridgeway had stopped on the roadway when a 2019 Honda Civic driven by 19-year-old Aubrey Grow of Bellefontaine rear-ended it.

Deputies say Grow failed to see the stopped vehicle and was cited for assured clear distance ahead.

No injuries were reported.

Both vehicles sustained minor damage.
