Sunday afternoon, just after 1:40 p.m., a two-vehicle crash was reported at the intersection of North Main Street and West Columbus Avenue in Bellefontaine.

Police say a 2009 Honda Civic driven by 19-year-old Artzia Farley of Belle Center ran a red light while traveling southbound on North Main Street.

The vehicle was struck in the intersection by a 2012 Volvo S60 driven by 60-year-old Jeffery Hoge of Russells Point, who had entered the intersection on a green light.

Hoge suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Bellefontaine EMS.

Farley was cited for a red light violation.

Both vehicles sustained damage and were towed from the scene.
