BELLEFONTAINE, Ohio – Seven Ohio Hi-Point Education Academy seniors recently earned their paraprofessional certifications, marking a pivotal step in their journey to becoming educators.
Education Academy seniors who earned their paraprofessional license include Raelynn Kirkpatrick (Bellefontaine), Jalon Manns (Kenton), Regan Bunn (Urbana), Kelsey Bushon (Kenton), Emma Johnson (Riverside), Mandalynn Brazzle (Bellefontaine), and Justice Scholl (Graham).
“I’m very proud and excited that all my seniors passed,” said Education Academy Instructor Angie Walls. “I’m looking forward to watching them grow as teachers and educators.”
The students can now assist elementary through high school students in math, reading, and writing. Once students graduate, they can work within the schools and become licensed through the Ohio Department of Education.
