Benjamin Logan senior Kaylyn Elliot has been selected as the 2026 recipient of the DeKalb Agricultural Accomplishment Award, a national honor presented to outstanding graduating members of the National FFA Organization.
The DeKalb Agricultural Accomplishment Award recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in agricultural education, leadership, and supervised agricultural experience (SAE) programs.
Selection is based on a combination of academic achievement, FFA involvement, and hands-on experience in agriculture.
Elliot has been an active member of her FFA chapter throughout her high school career, participating in leadership activities, chapter events, and agricultural education opportunities.
She has also gained practical experience through her work with Winding Creek Farm & Excavating, where she developed skills related to agriculture, business operations, and workplace responsibility.
