The Logan County Engineer’s Office will begin fog seal work on several county roads beginning Thursday.

Work will take place from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., weather permitting, and is expected to continue through Friday, September 11.

The work will be a moving operation, meaning different sections of road could be under construction at the same time.

One lane of traffic will remain open, but drivers should expect delays of several minutes or consider using an alternate route.

The roads scheduled for fog sealing include:

  • County Road 173: County Road 47 to County Road 5 on September 3.
  • County Road 57: State Route 33 to State Route 68 from September 8 through 10.
  • County Road 18: State Route 508 to County Road 11 from September 8 through 10.
  • County Road 57: Township Road 57 to County Road 9 from September 8 through 11.

Drivers traveling through the work areas are asked to use caution.

There will be unmarked no-passing zones in the areas where crews are working.
