Graham Local Schools is proud to announce that it has been awarded the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce District Momentum Award for the 2024–2025 school year. This prestigious honor recognizes the district’s significant improvement in student growth and achievement on the Ohio School Report Card. Graham Local Schools is one of only 20 districts statewide to receive this distinction, highlighting the dedication and hard work of the entire Falcon Family.
A special congratulations goes to Graham High School, which earned the Building Momentum Award for its outstanding Performance Index growth and Progress Rating. This recognition reflects the high school staff and students’ ongoing efforts to continually improve and achieve academic excellence.
Graham Middle School also received statewide recognition, earning a 5-Star Building Rating on the Ohio School Report Card. GMS is the only school in Champaign, Clark, and Logan Counties to earn this honor, and one of just 283 buildings across Ohio to achieve a 5-Star Rating out of more than 1,800 eligible schools. This achievement reflects a strong culture of high expectations, student growth, and academic excellence.
These accomplishments are a testament to the collective effort of Graham’s staff, students, families, and community. From teachers and support staff to bus drivers, custodians, food service staff, and district leaders, every member of the Falcon Family plays a vital role in supporting students each day. The awards recognize the dedication of staff who go above and beyond, students who rise to challenges and strive for excellence, and families and community members who support and believe in the schools.
Graham Local Schools continues to build momentum, creating opportunities for every student to thrive academically, socially, and personally.
