Lyndee Harrison and Wyatt Bell have been named the April Seniors of the Month at West Liberty-Salem High School.
Lyndee Harrison is the daughter of Brad and Jamie Harrison.
School Activities and Awards: NHS, Calculus Club, Link Crew, FFA, Key Club, Spanish Club, Basketball, Track and Field, Volleyball (OHC Honorable Mention) (2nd Team District 9), Top Ten, Highest Honor Roll
If I were principal for a day: I would allow all exams to be exempt for seniors.
Favorite school memory: Having Friday Feast my freshman and sophomore year with my lunch table.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: My friends, family, and teachers
Because: They have all pushed me to be my best and have shaped who I am today.
Lately, I have been reading: Heart of Darkness
My advice to parents: Give your kids more freedom in high school and encourage them to be involved in not only school but the community.
My biggest regret: Not running track sooner and only throwing
Next year I will be: Attending either The Ohio State University or Wright State University to pursue my BSN.
Wyatt Bell is the son of Jeff and Jenny Bell.
School Activities and Awards: FFA for 4 years, will receive State FFA Degree in May, White Tiger Award
If I were principal for a day: I would have a waffle breakfast for all teachers and students and then make class outside for the rest of the day
Favorite school memory: Lunchtime freshman year until we got kicked off of the stage
People who have been an inspiration to me include: My parents and grandparents
Because: They have taught me a lot and they are who I want to grow up to be like
Lately, I have been reading: descriptions of good deals on Facebook Marketplace
My advice to parents: Is to encourage your kids to start working and be responsible as soon as possible
My biggest regret: Not getting more involved in school activities because the days are more boring when you’re not involved
Next year I will be: Working at Logan Lawn and Landscaping all day and not just after work release at 12
