Henry Crowned King; Huffman Queen of Logan County Fair

Sunday evening, in front of a packed sale barn judges Logan County Sheriff Randy Dodds, Richwood Bank’s Bethany Watts, and Small Nation’s Shannon Reese, crowned the 2024 Logan County Fair Royalty.

2024 Logan County Fair Royalty Judges

Peyton Henry, of West Liberty, will serve as the 2024 Logan County Fair King.

He is a part of the Liberty Livestock 4-H Club and Benjamin Logan FFA.

Peyton is the son of Jerrod and Emily Henry and a recent graduate of Benjamin Logan High School.

He is a 10-year 4-H member, Logan County Junior Fair Board member, and shows dairy beef feeders, dairy heifers, and dairy cows.

Peyton said after being crowned:

Addison Huffman, of West Mansfield, was crowned and will serve as the 2024 Logan County Fair Queen.

She is a member is a member of the Benjamin Logan FFA.

Addison is the daughter of Andy and Kristie Huffman.

She recently completed her junior year at Benjamin Logan High School.

Addison is the Logan County Junior Fair Board President and shows market turkeys.

Right after she was crowned Queen she said:

Eva Carney, of Lakeview, was named the 2024 Logan County Fair Queen Runner-up.

She is a member of the Indian Lake/OHP FFA Chapter.

Eva is the daughter of Clifford Southard and Elizabeth Carney.

She is a recent graduate of Indian Lake High School.

Eva is the Logan County Junior Fair Board Vice President and has worked in the dairy booth, pork and lamb booth, announced shows, recorded show results, and shows market chickens.

The 2024 Logan County Fair Princess is Brianna Blair.

From Rushsylvania, she is a member of the Premier Livestock 4-H Club.

Brianna is the daughter of Brandon and Jennifer Blair.

She recently completed her eighth-grade year at West Liberty Salem.

Brianna is a Logan County Junior Fair Board member and shows market sheep.

2024 Cloverbud Royalty Includes:

  • Maverick Cooksey of East Liberty is a member of the Friendly Farming 4-Hers. Maverick is the son of Dwayne and Ashley Cooksey. He just completed 1st grade at Calvary Christian. Maverick enjoys swimming, playing outside, golfing, playing the Xbox, and playing with his brother’s steers. He enjoys being a Cloverbud because he is able to participate in 4-H. As a Cloverbud Royalty member, Maverick plans to bring smiles to others and be friendly.
  • Cohen Elliott of West Mansfield is a member of the Premier Livestock. Cohen is the son of Mat and Emily Elliott. He just completed 2nd grade at Benjamin Logan Elementary. Cohen enjoys baseball, swimming, drawing, and farming with his dad. He enjoys being a Cloverbud because he gets to learn new things about the fair and showing animals. As a Cloverbud Royalty member, Cohen looks forward to talking about the fun things at the fair and getting to hand out awards to the winners.
  • Harper McClintick of DeGraff is a member of the Riverside Hustlers. Harper is the daughter of Brad and Brittney McClintick. She just completed 2nd grade at Riverside. Harper enjoys swimming, softball, and cheerleading. She enjoys being a Cloverbud because she gets to see her friends and it is preparing her to be a 4-H member. As a Cloverbud Royalty member, Harper looks forward to meeting new people and making new friends.
  • Sophia McClintick of Cable is a member of the Riverside Hustlers. Sophia is the daughter of Daric McClintick and Shannon McClintick. She just completed Kindergarten at West Liberty Salem. Sophia enjoys showing goats at jackpot shows, cheerleading, spending time with family, and drawing. She enjoys being a Cloverbud because she gets to attend the 4-H meetings like her big brother and sisters. As a Cloverbud Royalty member, Sophia wants to be a princess to represent Logan County just like her sisters did.
  • Nash Pugh of West Mansfield is a member of the Premier Livestock. Nash is the son of Cody Pugh and Whitney Renkert. He just completed Kindergarten at Benjamin Logan Elementary. Nash enjoys riding horses with his Papaw Mike and pouring concrete with his dad. He enjoys being a Cloverbud because he likes to help people. As a Cloverbud Royalty member, Nash looks forward to helping others, especially the sheep and goats.
  • Finley Saylor of Belle Center is a member of the Premier Livestock. Finley is the daughter of Steve and Kaleigh Saylor. She just completed Kindergarten at Benjamin Logan Elementary. Finley enjoys playing Barbie’s, t-ball, soccer, and cheering. She enjoys being a Cloverbud because she likes to say the Pledge of Allegiance, 4-H Pledge, and learn about animals with her sister. As a Cloverbud Royalty member, Finley is looking forward to being a part of the Logan County Fair.
