American Honda reported strong sales in July, with Honda and Acura combined posting their best July performance since 2019.
The company sold 136,549 vehicles during the month, a 12.8% increase over July 2025.
Year-to-date sales are up 3.9%.
Honda brand sales climbed 12.3% to 124,553 vehicles, led by a 35.7% increase in passenger car sales and record hybrid demand.
Honda sold a record 36,609 hybrid vehicles in July.
The Honda CR-V, America’s best-selling SUV, set a new July sales record with sales up 18.8%.
The Passport also had its best July ever, while the Civic recorded its strongest July sales since 2021.
Accord sales topped 20,000 units for the first time in July since 2019.
Acura also posted a strong month, with sales rising 18.9% to 11,996 vehicles, marking the brand’s best July since 2023.
Acura SUV sales increased 21.6%, led by the MDX, which jumped 60.8%, and the ADX, which gained 28.3%.
The Integra also continued its momentum, with sales up 68.8% compared to last July.
Honda says its balanced lineup of cars, SUVs, and hybrid models continues to attract buyers looking for affordable vehicles with strong fuel economy and performance.
