A two-vehicle crash just outside Huntsville Monday afternoon sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries.
The crash happened around 3:30 p.m. at the intersection of County Road 37 and County Road 130.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, a 2023 Honda Accord driven by Kennie Eitel of DeGraff was traveling south on County Road 130 through the intersection when a 2019 Honda Odyssey driven by James Reed of Baltimore failed to stop at the stop sign on County Road 37.
The Odyssey struck the Accord, causing the van to travel off the roadway.
Eitel was transported by Huntsville EMS to Lima Memorial Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
Reed was cited for failure to obey a traffic control device.
Of the five passengers riding in the Odyssey, four were not injured. One passenger was treated at the scene for possible injuries but was not transported.

According to the Huntsville Volunteer Fire Department, firefighters and EMS crews responded to a two-vehicle injury crash at the intersection of County Road 130 and County Road 37 at about 3:30 p.m. Monday.
Emergency crews arrived at the scene and began evaluating those involved in the crash.
Additional assistance was requested from BMRT Ambulance District and the Bellefontaine Fire Department.
One person was transported to Lima Memorial Hospital in stable condition.
The remaining people involved were evaluated at the scene and declined transport to the hospital.
Wren’s Towing and Dad’s Towing removed the damaged vehicles from the scene.
More details are expected to be released soon by the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
